(HIRING)  Senior Attorney (Employment Law)
 

What you will be doing:
We are seeking an attorney with at least 8 years of experience for a position as senior counsel or partner. We are looking for this attorney to commence employment during the first quarter of 2023.

This attorney will focus on (a) managing single plaintiff litigation in our court systems and in arbitration; (b) managing administrative matters before the DFEH, EEOC, DLSE, DOL and other employment agencies; (c) providing advice and counseling on employment law matters to large and small clients. The position involves significant client contact and the attorney in this position will be expected to work with, manage and mentor associate attorneys in these tasks. There may be some class action and PAGA work, but class and PAGA cases will not be the significant focus of this position.

Experience you will need:

• Significant experience managing single plaintiff employment litigation in California in courts and in arbitration;
• Experience providing advice work to clients on policy modification and updating, termination decisions, leave issues, and other challenging personnel situations;
• Experience mentoring and supervising junior attorneys and the desire to engage in these tasks; and
• Experience as a first or second chair in an employment trial or arbitration is strongly preferred.
