(Hiring)  Lead Synthetic Chemist

We are seeking Lead Synthetic Chemist to become a part of our team! You will provide overall support to attorneys' business needs. 

Responsibilities:

• Lead the synthesis, production, and development of in-house polymers, resins, and adhesives.

• Oversee in-house R&D, production line management, and new resin development, which will lead to patent applications.

• Work closely with other business units within the company to support core projects and cross-business unit development.

• Envision new molecules from available raw materials and understand the relationship between chemical structures and properties.

• Understand and relate polymers, resins, and adhesives to actual performance, such as hardness, softness, and flexibility.

• Understand surface phenomenon, including adhesion, and how it relates to the adhesive bond on different surfaces.

​Qualifications:

• PhD in organic chemistry or polymer chemistry

• 3 or more years of relevant experience in synthesis and polymer chemistry

• In-depth understanding of chemical structures and properties

• Familiarity with intellectual property protection and patent filing.

• Must be a U.S. citizen or Green Card holder to be eligible for this role
