Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist Outpatient to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive outpatient physiotherapy services to diverse patient populations, focusing on restoring mobility, reducing pain, and enhancing overall quality of life. Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ physical conditions, including evaluating mobility, strength, and functional limitations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical evaluations, incorporating evidence-based physiotherapy techniques.
• Implement therapeutic interventions such as manual therapy, trigger point therapy, and exercise programs tailored to patient needs.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to coordinate care plans and optimize patient outcomes.
• Document all patient interactions accurately in electronic health records (EHR) systems adhering to clinical documentation standards.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment procedures, home exercises, and injury prevention strategies.
• Manage discharge planning by preparing patients for ongoing care or community-based rehabilitation services.
• Work with geriatric patients, pediatrics, neurology cases, and those requiring orthopedics or post-surgical rehabilitation.
• Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and uphold high standards of patient care throughout all interactions.
• Participate in continuous professional development activities to stay current with advances in physiotherapy practices.

Qualifications

• Valid licensure or certification as a licensed Physical Therapist in the respective jurisdiction.
• Proven experience practicing in outpatient clinics or outpatient rehabilitation centers.
• Demonstrated expertise in physiotherapy modalities including orthopedics, neurology, geriatrics, pediatrics, and home health settings.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and clinical documentation standards.
• Experience working with electronic health records (EHR) or electronic medical records (EMR) systems efficiently.
• Familiarity with inpatient hospital experience or acute care settings is advantageous.
• Excellent client communication skills with the ability to educate and motivate diverse patient populations.
• Ability to develop treatment plans collaboratively while adhering to clinical guidelines and protocols.
• Working knowledge of discharge planning processes and community care coordination.
• Commitment to providing compassionate patient care while maintaining professional integrity.
